Postdoctoral (PD) Fellowship Opportunity This fellowship is linked to the research project titled “Improvement of the monitoring and evaluation system of the National Agrarian Reform Program's Installation Credit Policy” (process 2024/14958-6). The project is coordinated by Professor Dr. Joelson Gonçalves de Carvalho and funded by the Public Policy Research Program (PPPP) of the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).

Descrição da vaga

The project to which this grant application is linked has the general objective of improving the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system of the Installation Credit Policy for beneficiaries of the National Agrarian Reform Program (PNRA), a policy aimed at financing basic goods, production systems, and income-generating projects for families living in rural settlements, quilombola territories, and sustainable use conservation units. The postdoctoral fellow will play a key role in the entire process of co-production and execution of the research, considering the five phases in which the research will be structured over the three years of its development, aiming to consolidate and disseminate scientific knowledge, adjust implementation processes, and improve the public policy under analysis.

Mandatory requirements for candidates:

• Degree in Economics and/or Social Sciences;
• Doctoral Thesis whose object of study is Rural Settlements of the National Agrarian Reform Program (PNRA);
• Research experience in the area of Public Policy;
• Research experience with Technological Development and Innovation for family farming;
• Publications in indexed academic journals related to the theme of the research project;
• Experience of 5 years or more in Technical Assistance and Rural Extension in rural settlements of the PNRA.

The selection process will take place in two stages:

i. iii. Elimination: analysis of the submitted documentation, in which the adequacy to the criteria of this announcement and the FAPESP criteria will be considered, with the results being announced on 20/10/2025.
iv. Qualifying: interviews with candidates, to be held on 22/10/2025.

• The interview will be conducted virtually, via a video call platform; however, as stated, availability for regular in-person activities is a requirement for approval.
• The electronic address for the remote interview of each candidate will be announced on 21/10/2025.
• All communications between the project coordination and the candidates will be exclusively via the emails used for registration.
